Removing a damaged TFT monitor from a laptop PC, then connecting the PC via cable to a saperate monitor? - pc monitor stand

My laptop screen is damaged, connect to the portable monitor to monitor independent, separate, but every time I return to my PC before withdrawing, I go to Display properties to an external monitor to choose that difficult, because the screen is damaged .
Is it possible to remove the monitor completely damaged, and finally to connect the computer to an external monitor?

Hi, depends on the make and model laptop, but a sequence of buttons to the monitor of the laptop and external monitor.

Most likely, Fn + F4 (or Fn-Fn key marked [blue] and press the F4 F4 above the keyboard.

Can different on your laptop, you think of each individual key and you should have a blue (small) icon to find a monitor.

Hold down the Fn (Function) key and press the button with the monitor icon, then let both of them, this picture may change for you.

I would not attempt to disable or replace the laptop screen, for themselves, because they are very difficult to replace, let the professionals.

Google software that can automatically install to an external monitor at boot time switch when you install to find someone who you (see for freeware) and then the fact that they manually change to take care of, too.
