Encarta is a fairly simple, but useful, a little something about you learn to know nothing. It contains information on a wide range of topics, but I would not recommend for serious research. I do not think you need to use the Internet.
Encarta is only a tool for basic research, if you are in school or college, I would not recommend buying, but if you have small children, I had money for him.
